This ensures individual and family needs are met to support their mental health and overall well-being,” Dr. Meadows said about her training and experience. “Having specialized and intensive knowledge in the delivery of psychological interventions and direct experience navigating our systems of care in Marion County, I hope to add to the existing expertise of MCBDD,” she added.
Dr. Meadows is proud to serve as a board member of MCBDD and is excited to get started. “The County Board of DD is such an impactful and meaningful organization for those in our community. Serving on the board is a strong means of supporting Marion as a whole and ensuring that services for those who most need support are available and accessible,” Meadows said of her board appointment.
“Having a board member with Dr. Meadows’s extensive behavioral health background is an invaluable addition to our team,” Cheryl Plaster, superintendent of the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities, said of Meadow’s appointment. “We look forward to her expertise and fresh perspective so we can better serve those in our community with developmental disabilities who also have behavioral and mental health challenges.”
